They were a begginer ski. fine if you dont hit rails but as soon as you hit one, the cap sidewall will not hold up well. they are very directional for a park ski. I would recomend volkl ledges if you are a lighter park skier. they are symetrical so good for switch.
I'm on my 2nd pair, and I think they are good skis. That being said, I'm not good in park so they get light use on features so mine held up pretty well.
My friend had a pair of masterminds a couple years back that he destroyed in a little over a season. He was light, did not go out that much, and did not do anything crazy on rails (he only did beginner features for the most part).
From what I've seen and heard the masterminds are ok for the light skier who wants twin tips but doesn't really fuck with the park or is a beginner park skier. However, they are not durable whatsoever.
I snapped them last year for my first season of park, I would not recommend them. They are definitely very fun but I only had about 20-25 days on them before they broke and I wasn't thrashing them.
