cydwhitUnfortunately I have no experience with fischer stuff other than their TransAlp boots, but your post has me curious, you touring with the Panhandle Backcountry guys?
I'm from north Idaho but moved to the Tetons right before I got serious about touring.
thedanimalfischer ranger 12s coming in soon
paige.Jealous. I tried them on and really liked them, but eventually decided they were too big. They're a little softer than I expected, especially seeing as the vacuum plastic isn't supposed to stiffen up with cold as most do, but they were definitely enough to provide the support I needed. Hopefully they start carrying them in a 22.5 soon. But seeing as they don't even have their women's touring boots in a 22.5 I don't have much hope for any of their unisex ones.
