Transition from soft to stiff skis

I'm 90% sure I want the 176 on3p kartel 98 mounted -2 as my next ski. I'm 5'9 140 and currently have the 169 2013 dynastar 6th sense slicer. I checked out the kartels in person and noticed my slicers were much softer and flatter (meaning my feet are closer to the ground).
I love my slicers but want something longer next year. Is adjusting to the kartel going to feel too weird? Should I get something more similar to something I'm already used to?

on3p's are very easy to ski, you'll adjust in no time. and they're really not stiff at all especially after you break them in. they're stiff to compensate for all the tip and tail rocker but in actuality they ski quite soft and they flex no problem.
