California Freeride Competitions?

Does anyone know if there are any Freeride competitions in California this year? Tahoe? Mammoth? Are these competitions open for the public to sign up for? How would a person who hasn't competed in a Freeride contest compete for the first time?

Hmmm... I'm guessing since Cali has been hit with a shit show of snow fall the past few seasons the bigger comps have passed up on this venue this year. At least that's what I see on the FWT/FWQ locations. You are surrounded by comps though in NM, CO, WA, UT.

I highly recommend entering them though. The adrenaline rush you get during your run will push your skiing abilities in a way that recreationally skiing with your friends never will.
