Line Chronic/Future spin 2016 real lenght

Eyh guys,

I'm owning a pair of K2 Domain in 169.
This year, i would go for a pair of Chronic or Future spin from Line, both will fit my needs. If i had to choose, i'll go for the Chronics for more versatility, but the two skis are really good for my size/weight and my program (Which is park 30%/Tracks borders and tracks 70%).

However, i'm wondering the real length of the skis.
My K2 Domain are 169 but their real size is more around 173 when i measure them.

I'm 172 and would like to go for a size around 167.
Future Spin would be perfect, as they are in 167.

But, do Line measurements are similar to K2 and then, the skis will be a little longer or does the size is exactly as mentionned ?


If you tell me they're shorter than what is mentionned, i'll be more than happy to buy Chronics in 171 ;)

Go for the chronics. They are pretty true to size from my knowledge, though cant completely confirm that. You wouldn't notice a difference from a 167 Future Spin to a 171 Chronic. The future spin will ski longer because of full camber, the Chronic 171 will ski like a 167 because of the early rise. IM 168cm and ride a 170cm ski. Go for the Chronics, and yes K2 skis run a little big

I'll follow your advice as soon as another owner of Line skis answers my question, i'll go for the Chronic !

The real issue is not if the ski will behave as a longer or a shorter ski, it's more a length issue while jumping, jibbing etc...

As a small guy (172cm, 64 kg), the size really have an impact on how i'll ski the park and, as i'm not an expert skier, in some situations, managing skis with 5-6cm less than my Domain would be really easier. But i know i must not go to short to keep the skis versatility.

Does anybody else can confirm that Line skis length announced on skis specs is the real one ?

Small bump.

Sales are soon here in France and i don't wanna miss a chance to catch a good pair of Lines skis at a good price ;)

Chronic will be my choice.

Wondering 2 things:
- The size: 164 or 171 (Will depend of their real length. Don't wanna have a ski taller than me as my Domain. I'm 5"64')
- The mounting point for a 30%park/70% program. Used to ride my Domain centered but they are built for it. Wondering if it would not be a good idea to back the bindings a little bit on the Chronic from true center for more versatility...

I'm in a hell of a brain storming (Wich usually leads to nothing because when skis are underfeet, doesn't matter the size or model, i litterally jizz in my pants xD)

Help me please getting out that mess guys ^^

If you spend more time outside the park than shredding it id say got for -2 back of center on them.
