How to do your first doubles? (HELP)

I need help with doing my first doubles just some basic tips please.

Bigger jumps are easier. Get yourself some decent air time instead of tucking both flips hella fast and then barely landing.

If you have access to deep powder, build a jump into it and then do your first double

Get them locked in on a diving board => locked in on tramp => airbag if possible => snow

Not to sound like your mom, but doubles are serious business. Make sure you've got them on lock off-snow before hucking.

Thinking about trying one too, but as said before, make sure to have you trick on lock off snow before to have the odds in your favor.

Me i'm just waiting for soft landings. I talked to the guy who's building the jumps at my mountain and he said to ask him before to make the jump little bit poppier ! If you can do this too, it would probably help you !

Just be confident and don't be stressed, otherwise it won't work....

Asked my friend about it. This is what he said: Remember that dubs with skis on may not feel like dubs on a tramp. The only exception being dub backies. Get access to an airbag or some water ramps if possible. Once you initiate the flip, there is no going back. At all. But landing your first dub is an experience unlike any other. 10x better than your first flip.


I hope to land one this season as well. Hope you are successful.

I can dot double flats and backflips fine on a trampoline and off a diving board so now just waiting for a good opportuninity on snow. Should i just go for it?
