Making a Movie

I saw on a video on here with a bunch of lego men, i guess the kid took acunch of pictures and moved the little men, how do you do that? i have a digital

if you want to do it with a lot of pictures just take a picture, move everything a little then take another picture. continue this till its all finished then go into a simple movie editor and put all the pictures in order with not much time length. or for video you can just record for a second, then stop, and do everything. then you just play all the videos right next to each other. there's probably a better way but these are what iv done
