What Newschoolers Really Needs.

Newschoolers needs a safe app/service/forum for people to meet other skiers, filmers, photographers and other such things. A skier should able to go onto to the service and say "I am going to (mountain) on (date) and I am looking for a filmmaker to make an edit with." and vice versa. Then people can get paired up and collaborate with each other and the amount of edits and sick content uploaded NS would double.

Thats just my thought, let's here yours NS.

I actually have thought this would be a huge idea.... but we don't have the capacity to build it right now.

As Krotch said, the best way to go about it would be to start it up in the forums with some rules, etc. If it really catches on we can look at building it out in the future.

Fantastic concept though.

This is a dope ass concept and I think it could work out in more heavily populated areas of NSers like CO or Hood, may be harder in other areas though. I want to see this happen

Thanks. I've been trying to find people to film for a while and my good friends aren't great at skiing so I thought of this idea.

I'm on the east coast and I agree that it might be harder in the less populated areas but I think it could work

just posted something sorta similar to this in regionals for ottawa, seems your right though for the most part about there not being that many people (especially out east) but its awesome that some people can be found on this site regardless of location, made one or two buddies last season because of newschoolers' regional threads, viva la NS!!!

This a lot for me. I love my good friends and they used to ski more but we are on such different skiing levels now I cant ski with some. This is a good idea for people traveling especially

I travel all over and I don't have a home mountain so this is why this service would be absolutely perfect. If I had a home mountain then I could probably meet some kids there and ski with them but I'm at a different mountain every week pretty much

the only reason it's not a good ideas is fucking logistics. I feel like it just wouldn't work out, not enough newschoolers who will be in the same place at the same time looking for the same thing.

Regionals are only dead because you aren't posting in them.

People post in SG "because regionals are dead" and nothing get's posted in regionals killing them.

Same with the cults, although that's more that 50%+ of the daily users on this site probably don't even know they exist, and people stopped using them 08-09 so there's nothing to check out any more.
