I know the Scott is far from the coolest google brand right now, being beat by the likes of Oakley, SPY, etc. But it looks as if their taking some interesting steps. I don't know if any of you have jumped on the Supreme bandwagon yet but these Supreme x Scott goggles are the real thing, you can even find them on the supreme website. What do you guys think?
They are by far the ugliest fucking goggles I have ever seen. They look like a cheap $20 pair a gaper would buy from the local gas station once they realize that wearing sunglasses isn't a great option in a storm.
The black ones are pretty cool, you can't find them on the website because supreme shit sells out incredibly fast, you have to buy them from an overpriced reseller like stadium goods
The basic Smith goggles are pretty nice IMO. Funny those Supreme branded goggles are just the super basic over the glasses Smiths but those basic Smiths are hard to beat. They are made in the USA and you can get a black pair without the dumb Supreme strap for under $40 shipped.
If you're buying supreme stuff then you're paying for the logo, so paying an extra $20 for a Supreme block print on a goggle strap doesn't seem crazy.
They're not making them for us. They're making them for the person that goes to Aspen for New Years and Park City for Sundance.
That being said they literally changed nothing about the entry level Smith's. I guess they intended them to look like stereotypical "ski goggle" and not a functional high performance interchangeable goggle. I don't think anyone on this site would be caught dead wearing them just like Hypebeasts don't care about optically correct rimless lens design with F3 Anti-fog coating.

Yup. I haven't payed more than $50 for goggles in a long time. Airblaster and Ashbury all day. Plus if you aren't a dunce you can hang on to the frames basically forever and just replace lenses. True with all goggles, but the basic shaped replacements are usually cheap as fuck. I also like the look of the non spherical lenses way more, I feel like I look like a bug or from Colorado with big Oakley or Dragons or whatever.
I went to their Manhattan store this past summer and I was less than impressed. I remember when they used to drop unthought of wild shit, collab's or not, and now it's just stupid... really stupid.

I'm not a fan of orange lenses but because of the Supreme affiliation, I will bet your bottom dollar that people will buy these. I swear, Supreme could sell extra small condoms and people would still buy them even if they arent reliable
