im pretty close to a die-hard steelers fan and after big ben's performance today, my confidence in him has dropped alot. i have a headache from just watching that game.
either way, the steelers have a tough game coming up. lets hope ben gets his head in the game and starts passing to the guys in black and gold.

Does anyone else realize that the patriots have averaged 34.0 points per game against the colts in the peyton era? Does anyone else realize that the Colts have a really shitty defense? Does anyone realize that Peyton is the master of finding weaknesses and Bellichick is the master of covering those weaknesses? Does anyone else realize that Patriots are 8-1!!! with what what called the 'patchwork secondary'

Peyton this, Peyton that. The Pats were 4th in the NFL in scoring (29.0 points per game)

One last thing when has the vaness,offensive team beaten the the defensive, smash mouth, greatly coached team in the playoffs; never; loook at 2001 super bowl. I like my chances with Bellichick & the Pats

honestly, the steelers sucked today. they didnt throw to plaxico enough, and they didnt use duece enough. and big ben better get a ton of practice in this coming week.

all in all, i think it was a sort of wake-up call; now the fire has been lit under the steelers' asses. watch out next week...

and to respond to Lanks, I admit also that the Steelers were a dynasty, but to say that the Pats will never be a true dynasty is bullshit. Even if they lose tommorow they will have won 2 super Bowls in 3 years during the free agent era (something 1000 times harder to do then in the 70's) plus if they lose they still did a great job at defending their title going 14-2. However if they win another super bowl that will make 3 in 4 years, the steelers won just 1 more. (3 in this era is a lot more difficult than 4 in the 70's)
