I have decided to buy either the canon t3i or the Sony HDR pj540. I want the pj540 because it's a camcorder with 1080p and 60fps. Having 60 god is really important to me and the t3i only shoots that at 720p. I also like how the camcorder has very good stabilization but I like the cinematic look of dslrs. I'm using this mainly for video and I heard camcorders have way worse deep depth of field. Help me decide please!!!
I have a t2i and the cx330 (a cheaper version of the pj540). Really the benefit of the cx330 is the size and the fact that you can pretty much point and shoot with it, rather then having a steadycam or tripod for the dslr.
I mostly use it for fisheye stuff and lazy filming, if you want to get serious I'd go with the t3 though. The cx330 is also kinda cheaply built, not sure how it compares to the newer one though.
