BortyTake your edges down if you want to slide wood. Also what kind of tree did you use? You want some hardwood action.
I wouldn't fuck with wood in the summer though, it get's sticky in the heat. if it's cold run some snow on it. You'll get a nice slick layer on top that ice over a bit. Not like the rail is covered in ice, but that little bit of snow frozen on there will help speed things up. Also turning your downhill ski up a bit could help your dealing with the nobs.
