Well, the liftees call it hell-week for a reason. There are weekend-warriors... and then there are the Christmas-break warriors, the worst of them all. Most of these abundant creatures only ski for 5 days and cause as many problems as they can.
How packed does your hill get and how do you deal with the crazy shit that goes down?
Last year we got 5-6 inches of snow at Granite peak the day after Christmas and it was one of busiest, but most exciting days of skiing I have experienced. Skied real snow on a closed run most of the day and it was a whole new experience for me. Parking lot was completely full, Got heckled from the chairlift by Chicago gapers, and ran into a little kid, all in good fun.
This year could be an exact replica as we are supposed to get 3-5 the day after Christmas.
