Is ski withdrawl a real thing? Whenever winter comes along and I go too long without skiing, I get agitated as fuck and can't concentrate.

It's worse than simple procrastination and I don't have ADD, but whever I'm supposed to be actually doing shit, I find myself watching ski videos and wasting time.

Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like there's no way I'm the only one.

I just skied yesterday from 10am to 11pm. I'm already sad asf because it is just pouring rain rn. I truly hate this weather Winter has come here twice and left in the matter of days.. it really sucks to be teased.

I am truly grateful that I have been able to ski 2 days at other resorts and 3 at home! Yesterday was by far the best day skiing yet and I can't wait for more!

Skiing withdrawal stages: (at least for this year)

1.) getting super stoaked for it to finally snow
2.) getting very stressed it is not snowing
3.) extreme weather research takes place because I am getting nervous it will never snow
4.) complaining
5.) giving up, because nothing I do will make it snow sooner
6.) depression
7.) bad grades
8.) what is life
9.) first snow comes and I don't even care because I know it won't last
10.) mountain opens (hopefully soon)
11.) balance is restored

I haven't skied since like 5:30 pm yesterday and I'm all like grrrr I wish I was skiing again now. I don't think this is a withdrawal though. Reality is skiing is just really fun and a better thing to do than most anything else.

Has anybody ever had this depression not go away... I got two days last weekend from a miracle and it didnt really help my case of withdrawa. I just hope i don't have clinical depression.
