How to make pvc slide better

So I got one of those thick blue water pipes to use as a rail but the only part is that it has some scratches on it and what not and my skis don't slide across it very well, any one have a way to make it nice and slick.

this is something that i had to solve recently and if you want it insanely slidey, the best thing to do is go to the dollar store or any store and buy the cheapest candles that you can.

Cook the candles with vegetable oil and then let it solidify, either using the fridge or just let it sit on the counter.

This made the wax insanely slippery for my pvc pipe rail i just built along with my steel rail.

thats where I got it from. it works amazing, definitely try it.

i would recommend using some kind of a pie silver cooking pan or whatever something bigger then a red bull can so that your wax stick isn't so small though.

Other then that definitely give this a go it works amazing!

O and I just granola oil or something instead of vegetable oil, I'm sure its all the same. still worked amazing.

I just used a little dish soap and sprayed it a little with water. worked pretty well

I heard this is what they do on rails at parks I tried waxing it with skate wax that I made awhile ago and it didn't worked okay but not as good as I want it, I might try some Pam spray or even melt the wax on, my friend tried that and said it worked really well. Thanks.

Sprays only work for a bit. It will come off after a while.

Wax on the other hand will build up layers and keep.

Also your edges might need to be filed down. PVC is by far the fastest material to slide.

are your edges detuned? If they aren't, then that's your problem.
