Looking at these three skis, or anything else out there thats similar. A playful jibby ski park only ski. im 5'10 160lbs
i've demo'd the FR's and really liked them, just wish they were more like a 90-95 waist. I really liked the flex, and how easy they were to whip around off take offs, im guessing cause of the rocker? just felt super easy to get start spins. didnt hit jumps but they felt pretty stable at speed even being 176(id go 181)
I'm looking at kartels and the da'nollie because they seem like a wider FR basically. I'm just concerned the Kartels will be too stiff and not as playful. and that the da'nollie will be too soft and wash out. the d'lirium seems good too i just havent heard anything about it.
I typically like softer skis, I like being able to flex into them and control the flex, press into the tails and hold it, etc. rather than just having a 2x4. but i dont like it when they get so soft they just fold over when you butter, i like that softer initial flex, then stiffen up as you flex more.
any thoughts?
