I bought k2 shreditor 102 and I need your opinion about bindings

Hello I bought them before 3 months and I put some old bindings I had. I want to know if I'm going to have problems when I go skiing. Here is a photo of them http://imgur.com/dEnEzwr mounted on skis.

2. They may be just fine. There is really no way we can tell whether or not the bindings will be good. That being said, the bindings look mostly plastic and not well built so they may blow up. Also, put some brakes on them so the skis don't go flying down the hill when you wreck your shit.

They seem fine, just make sure to put some brakes on, or crank your DIN's up, but that may not be the best idea...

Ok thank you. My DIN range is 3 to 11. What that means? What i should do on bindings?

should the DINs be the same on toe and heel? Or it can be 8 toe and 9 heel?

If you ask me I wouldn't trust old bindings. I got some marker griffon bindings for $170 originally $250. They are by far the coolest and best performing bindings out there in my opinion

If you get rossi FKS or marker griffon they will last you a long time. I wouldn't trust those old bindings though

Those are a pretty lightweight plastic binding and I would try to find a newer set. You can get STH13s pretty easily for around $175 new. You def need to get some brakes on there tho, b/c without them you can have improper releases with that setup. Do you still have the brakes?

take them to a shop and have them ASTM tested. I know that my shop will do it for $15 that includes adjusting the bindings to boot size and adjusting the din to the proper settings for your skiier type, height/weight and boot size. That will tell you if theu are safe to use or not. they will not test them without brakes so you would need to get some first or hope that they have some

Those bindings are still imdemnified so a shop will test them for sure, but like stated earlier they need brakes. I noticed the 2nd time around that they are demo bindings. I def say get a set of used bindings for 125ish bucks.

since you have to ask, i would not touch your din settings. you are taking a big risk when you change your release settings (blown knees aren't fun), so its best to leave it up to people who know what they are doing
