School Christmas Traditions?

Where I go to school, the second day before break we have a cookie station set up in the lunchroom and play Christmas music over the intercom between classes.

The last day before break, we don't have classes and everyone packs into the theatre. The seniors bring confetti, toilet paper, balloons, air horns, remote controlled blimps, etc. and destroy the place while other students and teachers perform on stage.

What's your school's Chrishmas tradition?

They usually have a lame assembly or something but I always ditch to go skiing. I have never attended a high school event, and I am a Junior.

That sounded extreme. I still go to class.

Events as in assemblys, football/basketball games, dances ect.

I know what you meant by not attending school events. Most of those are really fun to go to, especially football games. You're really missin' out dude...

I've been pretty fed up with this whole "sit in a classroom full of your peers" thing since 8th grade. It's just a big popularity contest. I would rather chill out at the ski hill or go for a hike than deal with these kids longer than I already have to.

But for real. No seniors even come to school the day before Christmas break. That's the closest thing we have to a traditiom

My school always does a day they call 'blast day'. At blast day you always do/attend awful activities such as spoken word, one act plays about rape culture, seminars and class activities. The worst part however is when we find out how much money we raised for our fundraiser that we do for 3 weeks before. This year our goal was 30,000$ For a youth shelter and we raised just over 2,000$ :/

My school is doing an ugly christmas sweater day for Tuesday, which is the day before break. I kinda want to show up in a hawaiian shirt to throw everyone off.
