I went from the 5 to the 6s a couple months ago and the 6s really isn't worth the extra 600 bux. Go with the 6.

6s=4k video, more durable screen (different glass), metal doesn't bend as easily?, multi touch (recognizes pressure of finger on screen, not that useful really at least at this point)

plus=bigger screen (too big for most people's hands)

the problem with the 6s is that the lowest size is a 64 gig so usually the price goes up 100 dollars or soper storage capacity and a 16 gig is available for the 6 (I've found this too be too small anyway though).

This coupled with the fact that it is the new year mode; (add 100 to the previous 100) and you're looking at an extra 200 dollars

I went from a 4s to a 6 and love it. I have a lifeproof nuud and it protects my phone as well as I need it to, and the battery life is good enough unless I play games or something

MinggMain things I'm looking for are a solid battery life. Preferably ones that don't die in the cold - unless thats how all phones are then nvm. Also I don't want a huge screen that's going to brake easily. I tend to drop my phone a lot so.

All I do with my phone is call, text, take pictures/video, go on Instagram, and go on NS lol. I really don't need anything that great tbh. I just want something that isn't gonna break or die after only a couple hours. It doesn't even need to be that fast lol.

I've also ruled out iPhone 6 and 6+ because they bend and no thank you.

To be honest I always have my 6 with me skiing and it doesn't seem to affect the battery life, for me at least.

Yeah they definitely bend fairly easily but it actually worked in my favor. I spiderweb cracked my screen, and mine was bent since shortly after I got it. Was gonna get a screen replacement through Apple since it was so bad, but since the phone was bent, they just gave me a whole new phone for the price of a new screen (like $120), since they said that if it's bent, it will fail screen calibration. That said I've had the replacement for like 3 months and it's already slightly bent, but you'd never notice unless you were looking for it

The Google nexus 5 is a solid build, alternatively check the Sony Z3; 2 day battery life. Honestly I think just stick with apple, pick up a used 5s. You'll save donj and you'll still have relevant hardware.

Look into the xperia phones. I have a low end xperia m and it does everything any high end phone does, my battery still easily lasts 3-4 days if I send a dozen text, listen to a couple hours of music, and talk for 5-10 minutes, and it cost me 150 bucks outright with no plan.

The xperia z 3,4, or 5 compact look pretty amazing. And a claimed battery life way better than mine. And in a Size that isn't ridiculous.

Buy a Samsung S5 or S6 and a lifeproof. You'll end up spending about the same as you would just a iphone 6 and never have to worry about ruining it

Turn your phone around. Aim the camera at you, take picture. Maybe take 4 just to make sure. Honestly you'll probably end up with a better picture anyway.

I had an iPhone 4 for years. It ran great the entire time and I never had any problems with it, despite putting it through hell and back. I had to upgrade it back in April though because, even though it worked great, I had dropped it so many times that both the front and back were shattered and I kept cutting my fingers when using it. I decided to use my upgrade and switch over to Android to give it a try. I got a Samsung Galaxy S6.

Three months after getting it I started having problems with it overheating and shutting down. I was able to hang in there with it until about October. It would restart on its own all the time, and completely erase itself. I went to Verizon and they sent me a new S6. Two months into the new S6 and the same shit is starting all over again with the new phone. My dad also has the same phone with the exact same problems. He just got a new S6 two days ago after going to Verizon because his new S6 was shot and it's already restarting and erasing itself. This is supposed to be the "flagship" Android phone. Thought I was going with something trusty.

I can't wait until my next upgrade to go back to a trusty iPhone. I had that 4 for so long without ever having any problems with it. iPhones just work. It doesn't matter to me all the extra fancy stuff you can do with Androids anymore.

I have a Samsung s6 battery is pretty decent and when skiing I put it in ultra power swing made and it hardly uses any battery life. It also charges from 0 to full in about an hour and a half.
If battery life is your main concern I would get an LG can't remember the name of the phone it's like the g4 or something like that and it has a removable battery Sony out could just pop in a new one when one dies.

i have an iphone 6s plus
-battery life is great, i had an iphone 5s and would have to charge 3 times a day, with my 6s plus i can get a whole day
-screen is big takes a day to get used to, but great for watching ns vids all day long
-camera is great

i had a 6 plus
-basically identical to 6s plus
-no 3d touch (i rarely use it anyway)
- camera isnt as good (the camera is still amazing but the 6s is even better)

also the only difference between the 6 and the 6 plus is size, battery life

if your tight on money , go for the 6 i had a 6 plus before my 6s plus and the only difference is the camera is a little better (trust me the camera on the 6 was not bad at all) and the 6s also has 3d touch but i barely ever find myself using it

I don't know if I believe you... The 6/6s/6plus/6splus line bend quite easily... Both of my 6's have bent from just normal every day use. I could see if they only had one case of a really bad bend, but I'm somehow sure more than one person has come in with a bent phone

the 6s is made of stronger aluminum than the last model a guy did a test it takes over 70lbs of direct force, if your putting over 70lbs of direct force on to the middle of your phone then your basically asking for it to bend...
