I don't know about you but I only go up every weekend(school). I'm trying to building a mini park in my back yard has anyone else done it and any tips? Pictures would help.
You probably dont have a problem keeping snow where you live.
But if your running out of snow (seasons winding down, or you live in ohio)
Then get a bug sprayer and fill it with water and go mist you set up pretty good a night when the temps are low to freeze what snow you do have and be able to ski at least an extra week. This also helps a lot with if speed is an issue.

Stack pallets as high as you need to, then through down 2 2x4s in each side and throw pallets on top of those for the in run. Don't buy pallets just go to places and ask because they are everywhere

Ok so basically my setup is down since we have no snow and my mountain is open, but you should get the point...
If you stack pallets as high as you'd like then put 2x4s on each side (I just found a small bunk bed ladder) then threw pallets over the ladder for an in-run... voila! a setup within minutes, no drilling or hammering and you can take it down and move it!
I used the setup in this edit... so this is what it looks like with turf (I just laid it down)
**If you have snow then remove the in-run keep the drop in...
Let me know if you have any more questions, but honestly this is the easiest thing to make... hardest part is just driving around looking for pallets...
Oh and for speed water and soap! I have also found that waxing skis helps a lot (I just hot scraped them every couple of times so I could get the speed) Put soap on the pvc that helps too!
