Pros On Filthy Riches?

karl barely rides the 98 and 106 he rides a bunch of weird variations like 110 and different numbers like that

kutcher, magnus, hurst (used to), I've seen sander on a pair once in a windells edit, Karl used to ride them pre-cartel, and I ride them :)

i just ordered some and I am stoked. I have yet to see a bad review on them.

The Filthy is still loved by all of the athletes, and even more so loved by the people who have ridden them. The thing is, the ON3P athletes are either riding the Prester cause they're hitting big jumps and want a stable ski that carves super hard or the Kartel 98 cause they want the versatility of the wider platform in the park. The Filthy, being in the middle does get quite lost sometimes, but that doesn't make it any less fun, if ON3P said to all of their park atheltes "you all have to ride the Filthy in the park this season" (which they would never say...unlike some companies) not a single athlete would be upset by that because the Filthy is still a premier park ski. You have to remember before the Prester and the Kartel 98, the Filthy was the ON3P park ski, there really wasn't another option, so all the riders were on them. Once those two skis came around (mostly because of the demand of the riders), they split between the two (or just split their time between the two based on what they're doing that day). Case in point, I love my Filthy's, they were my go to ski for 4 years, but once I got on the Prester, I found myself riding them so much more, then the spring slush came and I wanted the more surfy and powerful Kartel 98 to ride in the park. It just comes down to preference, and when you can choose to have both the Kartel 98 and Prester in your quiver, and pick which one you want to use when, it makes the Filthy less desirable for them. That being said, if you want a ski that's between the Kartel 98 and the Prester (which is honestly most park riders out there - the Prester is a high performance race car and the Kartel 98 is a wider all-mountain park ski) then the Filthy is the choice.

The filthy is literally the sickest ski out there. There are plenty of pros that still ride them but they have a whole lineup of skis they can choose from so they ski whatever firs the conditions that day. The filthy us incredibly fun and you can hit big jumps with them while still being able to throw them around on rails and butter anything. The filthy is probably my favorite ski of all time.

There was a guy on here who said karl was riding the kartels but in different sizes for deeper powder and other stuff. It was a name i thought i recognized that worked for you guys. My apologies if that is completely false, the way he worded it made a lot of sense so it seemed credible

Let me clarify, that probably came off as a bit harsh, but I was joking. Karl does prototype a lot of skis, and has spent most of his time in the back country and therefore on wider skis (like the Kartel 116 that he posted). But, when he does ride park, he's not on those, he's still rocking the 98 for now...but Karl is kinda crazy, so don't be surprised if he's on something wider in the park every now and then, haha.

So I know this isn't relevant to the thread, but today I finally got to flex a pair of FR's. I had only heard good things about them and I just did not believe the hype, but anyway, I looked them over and those skis are sexy. As. Fuck. I may have to pick a pair of them up holy shit they are great The only thing I am worried about is the considerable amount of rocker because I like a ski that is flat (or minimal camber for them surface swaps) with a bit of rocker in the nose and tail to get buttery and such. that much rocker isn't selling me even though I see people use them and be perfectly fine. But I am not those people. Can anyoone make a comparison of how the rocker feels compared to other skis that are common on the east coast (park)?

he's running prototypes for next years skis... most pros do this (companies will slap a different graphic on them) you best bet he was riding the 98s and 106's a ton when he was prototyping them too
