ck0belskiBlatant bigotry on national television. I guess he doesn't consider the countless religion motivated attacks on innocent people by Christians as terrorism. I guess he doesn't consider groups like the Army of God as terrorist, even though they attack and kill innocent people working at abortion clinics. The willful ignorance of Cruz and all of his supporters just keeps manifesting itself. He is ignoring the fact (or he could just be stupid) that Christian terrorism exists, so he can retain a pious stance among christian voters. Only when the people look differently than us and speak a different language does Cruz consider it terrorism. By default, he has turn the issue into one of race. The definition of terrorism applies to much more groups than just Islamic Extremists.

The statement "Trump is a racist" is directly related to the fact that he says racist things. It is completely unrelated to the subject of terrorism and/or its sympathizers. Because of that non-relation, anyone is (should be) able to say that "Trump is a racist" without any fear of being labeled a terrorist sympathizer. That you want to link someone who thinks that Trump is a racist with someone who is a terrorist sympathizer constitutes nothing other than the weakest of weak analogies.

I've never seen a politician just blatantly make stuff up the way Trump does and not get called on it, at all, by the people interviewing him. Problem is the tv networks know that people like watching Trump say ridiculous shit, so they let him get away with it for better ratings.

It's just really funny that the main reason people give for liking Trump is that he's honest, when in reality he lies way, way more than any other politician out there.
