How much should a steady cam cost?

So I found a video package sold by canon for $900 that includes t6i, 18-55mm lens, 55-250mm lens, a 32 gigabyte sd card and a rode microphone. Seems like a pretty good deal but i still need something to attatch the camera to. I found one for $87 but Ive seen em go for a lot more let me know what you guys think of the video package and steady cam.

From what I found from personal experience don't buy a cheap ass steady cam if you really want to get into filming.

That link still isn't working but I saw what you were looking at on that website and it's too small for that package your getting. It has a maximum of 2.2 pounds for the equipment but the camera + lens + mic weight 2.3+ pounds

honestly I have this and am perfectly fine with it. Have had it for 2 years and it still hasn't broken (I've used it a ton on client shoots and normal skiing/trampoline/wakeboard)

This one holds my rode, my 10-18mm and battery grip no problem can get a 4 second drop time. I'd compare it to the glidecam xr 2000 series. I also have a glidecam 2000 pro and prefer the opteka for longer film days.

Don't buy a damn steadicam. you don't need one yet.

Buy a good tripod first.
