Faction Candide 3.0

Hey guys,
I'm looking for an all mountain/powder/little bit of bc touring ski for this year, and I found a pretty good deal on last year's Candide 3.0s. I like the design, specs and everything, it seems like a good fit. I'm just looking for some first hand reviews and experience, anything you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. I have looked online, and in NS, but haven't found a ton... I know there's guys that ski them, so please fill me in!!

About me:
6'1" 155lbs, pretty aggressive skier, riding Canadian Rockies. Current quiver- Shreditor 102 184, Line Blend 185.

I would probably throw Tyrolia Adrenalines on there for the best (or worst...) of both worlds... Also, input on size is helpful, I would lean towards the 191, but recently skied the Rocker2 108s in a 190 and didn't really like them, and felt they skied kind of unwieldy and long...

I am looking for something a little bit more stable in chop and high speed, but still playful, and trickable.

I had a pair last year, Actually two pairs. I had some 175's for the beginning of the season, but they delammed under foot and they warrantied them and gave me 183's when I asked for a bigger size instead and let me keep the old ones, so don't let that discourage you.

The skis are incredibly light, I'm only 5'6" and was perfectly capable of skiing the 183's, the 175s felt too short, so for you're size definitely go 191.

The skis are very playful, also awesome for blasting in fresh snow. When stuff gets chopped up they aren't that good for charging, with soft tips they get deflected pretty easy. This become very apparent when trying to charge through hard east coast moguls, but you shouldn't experience that on the west.

Overall very fun soft snow skis, I however ski'd them everyday on the east, except park days and they were not quite so good on hard snow.

bump, also looking at these skis for touring. Main two questions:

1) How soft are they? Comparison to JJ's would be cool.
2) How durable are they? I've heard bad things about Faction...

faction skis have awful durability in my opinion.

had the 1.0s and the delayed after foot (to be fair the customer service was amazing and there was no problems with warranty, even replaced them with the new years 2.0s when requested)

now with this years 2.0s i have never seen a ski core shot so easily. yes i have hit a few rocks but you can see that the base is actually paper thin and none of my mates are having problems on other brands.

I will be put off in the durability i the future and look else where. customer service was 10/10 though

For what it's worth my 2.0s are still in great shape after a season plus indoor time. I didn't hold back on them, lots of rails, disasters etc and lots of bails. End of season grass skiing, indoor skiing. The top sheet gets damaged really easily but it's just superficial marks.

Seems to me that the majority are fine but for those that aren't the faction customer service is sick and they'll sort you out
