Full tilt customer service/Is this normal wear and tear?

I bought a pair of full tilt booters last year and have since used them for 100+ days and they have developed a hole in the heel of the liner.

Other info:
I did go to a bootfitter and they are the right size/shape for my foot
I emailed full tilt and they have not gotten back to me within about two weeks

long story short, look at the pic and tell me if this is wear and tear or defect

It looks like wear and tear, but after a year they shouldn't be doing that. I doubt FT will actually do anything to replace it

theyre not going to get you new liners haha. intuitions are good for about a hundred days. theyre somewhat disposable in that sense.


if you did something to your shell, and it was with in the warranty period than that would be another thing. for example i ripped out the screw that holds the center buckle on my kryptons and got a brand new set of boots in return.

dub post i know, but i just had to say that buying liners might be the least of your worries if you have the same kind of luck i had with full tilts. between 2 pairs of them i must have spent $400 on replacement buckles. it was downright retarded. seemed like i was breaking a buckle a day for a while. since going to dabello, i have broken 3 buckles... then again i come from a racing background, so i like my boots stupid tight.

I have a friend whose boot shell is held together by about 10 zip ties on each boot. He's ridden about 100 days as well. After 100 days, what you're describing is normal wear and tear

Looks like your heel is lifting up and down like mad...

New intutions are about 150-200 buck.

Ya if anything you would need to contact Intuition. But they don't last more than 100 days anyway. Get ZipFits if you want a pair of liners that will last.

Intuitions should last more than 100 days. They may get packed out and could benefit from a rebake. My Pro tours have almost 200 days on them and still have life in them.

That said, Ive always felt that the liners in the FT are cheaper and softer than a aftermarket pro wrap or pro tour.

I have had hands down the WORST customer service with fulltilt.

I snapped my boot tongue, so I bought #4 flex Booter (influence) tongue from their website in white.

They sent me a tounge for a regular fulltilt boot (non-Influence)

After 2 hours of difficult-to-reach-anyone phone calls. I finally fixed the issue.


I then waited 3 weeks, got a package, with #7 flex black influence tongues in it.....

I kept them because i did not want to try to fix it, so i rode with what i got.

What the fuck are you doing to your buckles? I broke one buckle on one pair of boots in like the last 20+ years of skiing, and that was on a pair of Langes in HS.

I have a strange feeling you may be doing something wrong with your buckles....

Classic FX is very similar to the stock liners, the ALPINE powerwrap is what most people use that add them aftermarket into boots

I broke FTbuckles like crazy too. It's extremely easy. The buckles are cheap and weak.

My last pair of FTs had one working buckle on each boot

The high end FTs are metal buckles and pretty strong. The softer flex ones have the cheap brakable buckles. Replaced many in my time of owning and selling them.
