Has anyone else here heard of or watched the Despecialized edition of Star Wars?

I got it about a week ago and the only way you can right now is by torrenting it. However I believe it is completely legal to get it right now because it's classified as a cultural restoration project seeing as George Lucas has denied the fans a genuinely restored film and not a remastered version with iconic scenes changed.
I'm not going to post the links to the torrent websites going to leave that up to any one who wants to look for it. Just wondering if anyone has heard of it or watched it. I actually enjoyed watching it because I watched star wars before everything was changed and the only copies of the film were the restored ones that aren't very good that I could find for purchase. I already have those ones, but I wanted the original one I remember seeing on VHS when I was fairly young.
after watching the unaltered versions you kind of appreciate the films more for what they where and the special effects are better than most of the CGI effects used even to this day.
HAN SOLO SHOT FIRST! lol
