Fake ID in Denver

So I'm going to Denver next week with one of my friends and we're wanting to do the obvious.. go out downtown and go to dispensaries. She's 21 and I'm 20 but I'm questionable about using a fake there. We're both from Georgia and my ID is a real license that scans, just not me. Any recommendations on where to go/where to avoid?? Also, we're both blonde (I would like to say good looking) girls

Denver is big enough that they get ID's from all over, so an out of state wouldn't come across as suspicious.

You bought fakes for a reason; might as well use them.

I'm not trying to scare you but I will warn you. Using someone else's ID is identity theft. I never thought they would pull that shit for something like trying to pass as 21, but they do. Happened to a friend of mine about 5 or 6 weeks ago, and now he's payin off about 5k in legal fees to basically pay his way out of a felony. Sounds stupid I know, but know that could be your worst case scenario.

If the fake is your name, then they'll just take it and tell you to fuck off if you're caught.

This. A cop who feels like being an asshole could certainly bust you for identity theft. Be careful.

Oops, I missed the going out downtown part. If you have a decent fake then you should be fine for bars and such.

Yeah I'm not as concerned about the dispensaries because I would rather her just go inside than risk it but I don't have any idea what the bars are like. We're from Atlanta and pretty much everything here will let you in if you're a girl

Dispensaries are more strict then you think. They are walking a fine line of legality, so they don't put up with ANY bullshit, period. I would say dispensaries are a major no go for sure.

Bar wise, it depends on where you go. You would most likely be able to get away with it at a lot of the breweries if you are a cute girl. They don't make to big of a fuss over that stuff.

Some of the more hole in the wall bars on Larimer (Herbs, Gin Mill, Retro Room, etc.) you will probably be fine. The larger bars on Market (LoDos, View House, etc.) will probably be tougher to get into, and more likely to be an ass hole if they catch you.

dude I've been using a fake in and around boulder bars and dispensaries for years, you'll be fine. as long as its not a shitty id you're good. run if they catch you

Probably wont have a problem. My friend used a fake at a bar downtown and the bouncer was wearing a sweatshirt from her real home town (which is in a different state than the fake was from) and told him she was from a different place than the ID (neither of which were colorado) and she still got it

Went there in the summer, i'm 22 and my buddy has a fake, we got into a ton of bars downtown. Being from out of state helped and they didn't scan any of our ID's.
