Line Skis

Hey guys,

I have a buddy who can get 60% off Line skis. Even better he sells in Canada so I can use the strength of the dollar to cop a new pair.

I am 6'0" and 165 lbs looking for a Line ski of course that I can rip all over the mountain. I ski mainly East coast but will do trips out west. I love the backcountry.

I have bad knees so don't want to swing around anything heavy and I try to stay out of the park too nowadays.

So if price is no problem, what ski combo (length would be nice) would you recommend?

The new SFB for sure, new line cloud core, and a 104 mid makes it a dope all mountain ski. From what I've heard they've also made it a little stiffer than they have been in the past

Just checked and the one thing they wont give a discount on is the SFB....which makes sense since it is so sick.

If youre not going backwards at all check out the sick day 102 then, could be good for you

If you really have "bad knees" I would not go over 100ish under foot. In powder not as big of a deal, but on groom or harder stuff, too wide is really hard on the knees.

If you want all mt. ski the Sick Day 102 will do it all and not kill your knees on harder grooms.

Ha ha. I did not see this above. Now you have two votes for the Sick Day 102.

I will say you can go switch on it no problem! It has plenty of tip and rise at the tail! Not flat.

Look at the skis profile. You will have no problem going switch. You can always mount a bit forward as well. Take care!

Yea, sometimes it the skier and not the ski! Yet the blend is plenty fat to ski the pow!

Depending on how aggressive you are with your skiing, the Supernatural is a really good all mountain ripper that will still give you performance in powder. It has a really nice edge hold and it still give a little bit of playfulness in your flex. Depending on where you ski most, you can get 90 underfoot or higher. I recommend the Supernatural for days.

I just really hate the tail on it. I know its the most ridiculous peeve ever. But I strongly dislike it.

Supernatural 100 or Blends.


Blends = more playful, powder twintip.

Supernatty 100 = strong in the tail, stronger on edge. just about the same in pow/crud

I skied my blends today. Super buttery and versatile. Definitely a good choice.

Blends. I have a pie of 168s, normally ski 184, that I got super cheap and they're so much fucking fun. Debating getting a pair he right length if I don't grab some chronics or shreditor 92s

If this is new product, I'm assuming this is thru a proform – what your buddy is doing is really frowned upon and likely to not get any industry hookups in the future. FYI

Eh, definitely not recommended for the Sick Day series. From a quick glance at the thread, it'd be worth it to check the Blends out from the type of skiing the OP is interested in. Visit your local shop or go to a demo. Sick Day and Supernatural are directional freeride specific – The Sick Day has a more playful feel, you can really slash/wash out the tails for that "surfy" characteristic. Supernatural is definitely your more lock in & plow thru everything at top speed / ngaf ski.

Not that it "really" matters but where are you skiing mainly on the East?
