So here is the dreaded "what camera should I get thread".
If we are are just looking at a body, my budget is around $2,500. Im buying a glide cam so mostly follow cam filming, but I have a tripod. I will only most likely be filming skiing and mountain landscapes.
I was about to pull the trigger on the GH4 but was to hesitant, so NS help me decide.

I just bought a gh4 and I'm super impressed. It kicks ass and the step up from my t2i is night and day. That being said it is micro 4/3rds and the crop for 4k gets a little annoying. The low light is kind of shitty with the gh4 so if you plan on shooting at night the a7s or a7r might be a better way to go. If you want something thats not micro 4/3 or thats canon mount the 7d mk ii is probably the way to go. In my mind the trade off is this:
Gh4: internal 4k and over crank, but no low light
A7s/r: super low light monster, but no internal 4k
7d mk ii: canon mount, lots of lens options, super versatile and great for stills, but no 4k
