Me and a group of friends from the University of Utah are doing a BC trip in January. We are planning on skiing Revy, Kicking Horse and Whitewater. But between Revy and Kicking Horse we would really like to get in a couple days of touring on Rogers Pass. I've got my Avy 1 and 2 and done a decent bit of touring in the Wasatch but for the most part we are going to be a group of jongs on Dukes and daywreckers. We'll be there sometime between Jan 10th and 15th. I just bought Douglas Sproul's guidebook: http://www.geobackcountry.com/book
Is there anybody from that area that has a lot of experience skiing Roger's Pass or have some suggested tours, ideally something not too long or high risk? If you live in that area we would exchange copious amounts of beer to link up with some locals for a couple days of skiing. Cheers!
