so i go to school right next to a turf field , and with that becomes a lot of farmers,hicks diesel daddys that blow coal and shit and talk about it wear bright colored vests and are rowdy and annoying. Thats mostly what they are made of.Im not a hick i have 1 or 2 friends that hang with the hicks but aren't really hicks just wear boots. I like to dress casual if not nice and put on cologne . But its almost like i get looked down on it. I was talking to this girl and she agreed with me that people get put down for looking nice or just not like a hick. I mean sometimes i just wear sweatpants and a hoodie but still how is it cool coming to school with black hands yellow teeth dip bright colored vests and being an asshole ? someone help
You just gotta be nice to people, it doesn't sound like you're really respecting them in any way. Just be friendly and if you have to, back yourself up but honestly rednecks are good people too. Everyones weird too their own extent man, the sooner you realize that the better your life will be.
And if you have to leave them alone, that's fine too. Take your shit and head out of their. Whatever works for you, works for you.

But seriously, you sound like you live in vermont tbh. Hicks and their shitty fashion sense/shitty attitudes on anything that isn't budweiser, football and camo clothing annoy me. Once you get to college you'll find that more people dress and act like you then like uncivilized meth fiends.
