I just found out I cant ski for the rest of the season WTF

I got an e-mail today from the captain of my school's ski team/club saying we have been suspended from this weekend's races (whoop-de-doo) and we were having a meeting tonight to talk about it.
The members of the school (USC) ski/snowboard team all put in $350 to pay for race dues and lodging at Mammoth for weekends all season long. We leave Fridays and head back to LA on Sunday afternoon.
So anyway, In the meeting we are informed that Cal Poly posted pictures of their New Year's party to a private, members-only login webpage. One of the pictures had two girls kising and had the caption 'USC girls have fun at the party' Other pictures clearly showed people drinking.
A disgruntled member of CalPoly's team showed the director of club sports the pictures. She then called my school, along with the league.
My school calls the league and has us suspended from all activities and freezes our club/team account until next fall to which we have all contributed $350 (45 people). Our advisors say we were misrepresenting the school. Everyone parties on New Year's eve. How can they pull that when nobody was wearing school insignia, and even more importantly the images weren't posted to a publicly viewable website.
So now we are all out $430 on a season pass to Mammoth, which we can't use unless we pay out of pocket for lodging.
Sorry for ranting, I am just a bit ticked that school is holding my money hostage and now I can't afford to go skiing.

wow, that is really bad. there is no proof that the people were even from USC. plain silly. i hope you get your stuff back.

OK. Here is what to do.
1. Get ahold of the Lamda/gay rights office there at USC. Inform them that the school is discriminating againts Lesbians for being who the are by cancelling your ski club/race team
2. Call the local congresswoman
3. Call the ACLU
4. Call Channel 5 about the mess.
6. Login into Howard Stearns website and send email with the pics to him.
You do this and you will get your race team back.

Do what I told you and you will get results faster than anything else. Oh also get a list from the LAMDA people of their faculty officers and contact them.
I know the girls are lesbians and you don't have to be gay to appoarch them, but they fight a cause like nowbody else and they get loud and bitchy. USC will cow down just to not hear it. Especially because of title 9 as well.

definitly fight this. It's ridiculous and not right. either get them to refund all students money, or allow you to continue as a club.

I don't really care if races are canceled, sure I wouldhave liked to spray some corn off my twintips in some UCLA racers face as I own them up on skiercross, but I just really want to be able to go skiing, and without any money that isn't gonna happen.
We are trying to either get our money out of the account or get the team back, but the appeals process could take up valuable weeks or even months of ski season.

Sammy. Seriously do what I instructed. You will get your team back, and maybe some extra funding. The last thing USC needs right now is some kind of athletic scandle after being the NCAA football champions
