Went to get some footbeds today and got some custom ones done but the shop did an awful job they were super wrinkled and what not (when I got home I tried to fix them but ended up destroying them cause I was a dumbass) also they are the only shop in town That does custom insoles so that blows. I usually do my own boot stuff cause I work at a very small shop but we don't have the tools to do a true custom insole anymore which sucks but whatever. I can get sidas non custom insoles for a good deal but they aren't true custom to my feet, are they better than an average super feet if I have the proper one ie: mid arch ect. Tom or nerdy your help would be extremely appreciated! Thanks
I would go back to the first shop and have them try again. The great part about the sidas system is the footbed can be remoulded quite a few times before they shrink too much. I would start by chatting to the fitters about the issues you are worried about and let them try again. If they are a decent shop they hopefully offer some kind of garentee so all though you messe with them hopefully they will still try to help you out. Trim to fits are all basically the same and can either help or make things worse. Don't mess with them go custom if you possibly can.
