Skiing without snow

Hoy do you practice for the slopes when there is no snow? Any ideas on practicing tricks?

Build a drop in about 5-6 feet high and cover it in turf works great go check out the cult: Build-a-jib 101 and there's a few good blue prints
You can also slack line and blade

Astro turf. build a run in covered with astro and then have a rail and a patch of it at the end. There really isn't enough speed for jumps, but it will work for rails for sure

go to a gymnastics facility or trampoline park, you can practice flips and spins, also ive seen people doing corks and rodeos

If you have some cash msnow works great lots of speed with no wetting required hurts a ton if you fall though and like I said its hella expensive

I would get in shape. Your days will last longer and will be more complete if you have great cardio. However, core strength and flexibility is great for reducing injuries throughout the season. watch a bunch of ski movies because this is when you get mentality in the game.

Find another sport so you have something to look forward to for both parts of the year. If all you want to do is ski, you're going to spend half the year just trying to pass the time
