_Ryan_I have 7.2's and i haven't found problems with them besides bearings, and thats not a big deal. Pretty fun skates, big soul plates, not too heavy.
skiguy04good skates
those USD's are good too
and yeah bearings that roll well make it or break it
Deliciousness22Anybody have them? I just ordered a pair, they arrive saturday. Im super excited. Anybody here use them?
skiguy04make sure you have lock tight on your bolts AKA that blue paint on the bolt ** If you don't have it you will most likely be over tightening especially on wheels 1 & 4
next make sure you have the right bearing spacer and/or don't have any worn out or weakened/compressed spacers (if you do it's probably from over tightening bolts as overcompensation for lack of lock tight)
all that being said - bearing should be good if its clean
LonelyConsidering getting into blading, looking at the USD VII

Deliciousness22If u use flip hkds it doesnt matter how tight u crank them. I suggest trying them and u wont need to worry about that locktite nonsense.
Deliciousness22In my exp alot of skate bearings dont spin for shit when you crank them down on blades. Fkds suck, bones REALLY SUCK, but flip hkds dont rub and spin for at least 30 seconds when you hand spin test them. I just get flip hkd abec 5s but im sure the 7s work great as well.
Its funny- roller warehouse has an entire page of tgeir catalog dedicated to bones even tho BONES DO NOT WORK ON INLINE SKATES!
Pretty funny what some people will try to get away with these days.
But i agree, your bearings rolling well is of tantamount importance. Nothing is worse than losing speed all over tge park.
Flip fkds are not only the best inline bearings ive ever tried, but they are also ranked above everything else in skateboard forums all over the place
