So I've been riding 171 Ar7's for the past two seasons but there pretty beat so I'm thinking about getting last years Thalls since I have a good deal on them. I'm 5 foot 8 and 135 pounds and thinking about getting the 176's. I just want to make sure that they won't be too big for me. I'm still growing so I'll probably grow a little taller as well.

im 5'11 and ride 176, originally i got 181s and sent them back cause they seemed to tall for my comfort the difference between a 171 and a 176 is like less than 2 inches you should be fine with either i would go with 176 though especially if you are growing but overall its just a personal preference thing

bruh i'm 5'8 and i ride the 166, but that's just cuz i got a really good deal on a used pair, and I also don't weigh as much

176 no doubt. I jumped 20cm this year from a 148 to a 168 and haven't looked back. Love the eXtra stability it gets me and they are just more fun to ski, they are quite rockered tho. I'm 5'7 and ride a 168 and 170 cm but I'm 115 lbs. The 176 will be a fine choice, the 171 is hardly any different. If you think you are still growing I would be safe with 176.

Thanks guys, I just bought the 176 since I'm still growing and like a longer ski. I'm stoked to use them this winter!

Sick man. Happy shredding. It may take a little to adjust, i know it did for me. 20cm is a quite a bit different. Maybe not as much for you. I think you'll enjoy the length honestly. It make take a little to get used to the extra weight which really isn't much for more than the 171 anyway. The weight was more of an issue for me than length nd I'm used to it now after 6 days. Cheers.
