Replying to Skiing DIN preferences
So I know a lot of you probably do not know what your Din is what it is because your local shop set them up. But for those of you who know what your talking about post your
-DIN
-Height/ Weight
-Skiing ability
-What type of skiing you do
- And if you ski park how big are the jumps you hit
I ski at twelve I am 200 pounds 5'11.5 and ski park, I would say I am intermediate and the biggest jump I have spun is 60 feet. I am only asking because I am a ski technician at my local hill and set up skis a lot and am used to dealing with DIN for beginner skiers so they are usually lower settings. Also I have seen videos where small skiers are skiing jester pros, but a conversation with a guy at my hill said he skis at 11 (He looked about 6'3 and 210) I watched him ski and he was far more advanced than me. Looking to see what you guys are at and why.
Also for anyone who reads this I would not recommend changing your DIN settings based on what people say as each person skis differently and messing with your current setup can be dangerous with out professional guidance. So I repeat do not touch your bindings!
