Saga Pants Warmth

So I'm looking at getting a pair of Saga pants for my wife during their sale and I am looking for the warmest ones available. Ive always been under the impression that the 3L pants are the best/warmest? But on their site they list them as a shell. So then I'm looking at the fatigue and they are listed as mid-weight. Just wondering if anyone can clear things up for me?

I've looked and searched and found nothing in the forums so far on this.

The Monarch 3L pants are just a shell, the Fatigue pants have a liner inside that aides in keeping you warm. The fatigues will keep you warmer, while the Monarch will stay more dry. Can't speak for the anomie as I've never touched a pair.

Alright thanks for the help, I ended up going with the fatigue being that we have some pretty cold days here in Minnesota!
