ok i just bought a pair of fujatives and they are 169. i went to the ski market and saw a pair of 159 and i was like 'woa thats lclose to my last pair of skis' i am 5'7' i think, the 169s are too my forehead...im just starting freestyle, but ive already have the 180 and natural grinds down...what do i do??!!

def stay with the 169's ull have mroe control if ur skis are balanced with ur hieight i have 167 chroncis and im 5'4 and they fit me fine i think the 169's would do u the best

cuz i got worried like fuck...lol...would it mean its harder to spin in the air and shit, even spin to a grind with longer skis?

ive gone from 142's to 158 to this year 167 and i havent really noticed a dif in spinning ro teh speed i spin ive noticed i have better balance in the air caus ei have mroe ski to grab so im alot more balanced and grinding is basically the same its more the weight of the ski that makes the dif for me on rails

my skis are the exact same height as me. 180cm just shy of 6ft.

ATTENTION: SKI LENGTH HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RELATION TO THE HEIGHT OF THE SKIER. It is completely based on the weight that is on the ski and the ability of the rider. A 169 ski is best for someone around 150-165 lbs. if your not a good skier you could probably weigh up to 170. So to recap, DO NOT BE FOOLED, YOUR HEIGHT DOES NOT MATTER WHEN CHOOSING A SKI.

ya but wouldnt things like spins off a jump being slower with skis as tall as u compared to 159s?

height can matter! some like longer over shorter! it s far from being all in the weight, like some one already longer skis are easier to grab in the air, bu shorter skis r easier to manouever

my skis touch the forehead, hairline. and youll grow too, its better to have a ski be too long to grow into than a smaller ski that is useless to you.
