Lus146Just got my first speeding ticket. I'm 17 years old so I know that they won't be as hard on me as they would be a year ago, but I really wanna know what kind of punishment I will have. My main concern is that I will lose my license for 6 months. I don't know if that is what happens for a 17 year old though but I know for sure that is what happens for 16 year olds. I have to go to court and I'm super scared that they will do a hair drug test because the last time I smoked pot was a few months ago. I smoke but I don't smoke like a ton a ton. Help would be great because I am freaking out thanks
CoreyTrevorI got a few tickets when I was 16-17-18. Usually about 15 over the limit. Nothing ever happened (granted, my parents paid my insurance so idk how much it went up but I was always fine).
Now that I'm 29, I hire lawyers to fight tickets when I'm getting too close to losing points. It's all cool and it works--I haven't lost my license yet but have come way too close. Although, I have been kicked off a policy about a year and a half ago and might lose this policy in the spring (both me and gf have tickets and accidents/claims in past year). Really sucks because my auto is bundled with my home policy and umbrella policy so getting booted fucks my life over
