Binding Glue and Removal Help?

So I got my new skis mounted a little while ago, but i took the bindings off and put them in my old skis (had those same bindings, so same holes, just screwdrivered them in) for summer skiing. I took them off my old skis and back onto my new skis because its also ski season. Do i need to cover the screws in like waterproof glue or something? Will water get in and rot my core? Or am i good? I wants these skis to last and can't have my bindings ripped out from a rotted core.

Put wood glue in the holes before you put the screws in... You do not want water getting in there. Also, whatever you do, don't use gorilla glue. That stuff will expand and ruin the holes.

Exactly this Op. just wood glue, and be sure not to over tighten the screws
