Thought this would make someone on here hyped, seeing as a lot of you have expressed great appreciation for this specific edit.

Some time after the edit was released I created some very limited artwork-prints from it.
Of which I still have a few left. - These are signed by all the skiers (Henrik Harlaut, Tom Wallisch, Oscar Harlaut and Niklas Eriksson).

And for christmas this year, one of you at Newschoolers will get one of these.

To decide who that is going to be - I came up with a little competition, so that everyone will have the same chance of winning.

My guess is 953, assuming by X games results you mean medals. Also, I just remember watching the edit in my 7th grade Literature class with my friends and getting super hyped on the backflip at 1:04

When I think of that edit, I remember seeing Tom's Scott Punisher Jibs on that opening shot nollie. After that, I spent an entire vacation in Hawaii on my laptop trying to find the best deal on those skis. Favorite shot? Tom's back swap pretzel 2 where he doesn't look at the rail at all after the swap.

shit didnt see second part. Actually this edit was like the third freeskiing edit i ever saw after one called "dropping pillows with the nimbus crew" and like some JOSS edit. While tom's hair was awesome, henrik blew my semi-backflip virgin mind at 1:04 and it still stands as my favorite backflip to date.

And my friend showed me this when it first came out. I hadn't even started skiing yet. I don't know why it had the effect on me that it did but it brought me into the freeskiing world

My answer is going to be a solid 84 since Its hard not to share it.

It inspired me to just "go for it". Nothing ventured, nothing gained. So I started stretching everyday, doing yoga with the goal of being able to do grabs. While stretching and going to the gym a really cute gal caught my eye. We started chatting and we began seeing each other more frequently at the fitness center. Finally I noticed that she may be single and may think I'm funny enough to go out with. I was dismissive, but then I thought "If those piles of powder were like clouds and still were hit, and if those jibs were ridden on with such finesse, then I can have at least the balls to hit on this girl and ask".

So I did go up to her and asked whether or not she would be interested in coffee or something (anything) like that. She said she was engaged (No surprise) but should would if she is free! Yea, I didn't shag her or start dating her, but because of the risks and style shown in the edit, I had the inspiration to ask a girl out. Nothing Ventured, nothing gained.

My guess is 54 and I remember watching it back a couple of years ago with some friends who snowboard. They said skiing is gay. Showed them this. They were in awe at the things you were doing on skis.

As far as a story behind the edit.. Oh man.

Whether it was watching it on the way to the mountain, listening to the song as we were riding and as we were partying after, or fuckin falling asleep dreaming of the golden days 6 years ago... this edit has always held the tru feeling I get when skiing with the homies. Can't get much better than this!

Those hip shots and overall vibe of the edit made me venture into the park 6 seasons ago. I met some kids in middle school who also skied and snowboardered, couple times up on the hill and we've been best friends ever since. I was always curious about park skiing but this edit, along with others, helped push me into those orange circle areas! Wouldn't change it for anything.
