What is a solid fluid head tripod that is travel size?

So I'm looking into getting a new tripod on Cyber Monday because hopefully there will be some solid deals. Anyways, I'm looking for a travel sized tripod that is fluid headed. I want it to be able to pack it around conformable on my backpack, and also I would like a price that is $125 or lower range (trying to not murder my ski fund). I will mostly be using my T3i with various lenses, so I wont need anything too beefy. Any feedback would be great

I use a Manfrotto mvh500ah, its not huge, might be a little big for your needs but it isnt super expensive and gets the job done.

just realised you wanted legs aswell, you might be able to find a deal on some 055 legs, thats the combo i'm using, again could be a little large for you. but ive done hikes with that setup strapped to my bag and it hasnt been too bad!

woah that looks like a surprisingly solid budget solution. have you ever used this brands stuff though? Does it hold up over time?

I have lights, monopods, sliders, light stands, and this fluid head and it holds up very well. I was very pleasantly surprised when I brought there stuff.

You're not going to get a quality tripod for less than $500. You're also not going to get a quality tripod in the size you want. Sorry.

Also please to not recommend or buy this kind of off brand bullshit products. That stuff you linked to is garbage.

The key with video equipment is investment. You might have to spend more than you want, but you will thank yourself in the future. I had a $300 manfroto 'fluid head' (not actually a'fluid' head) and that shit broke within two years, legs were trash, head was falling apart. Biggest waste of $300. I invested $1200 in my current tripod, I've used it weekly for 4 years and its in the same condition (minus cosmetic) as day 1. Trust me here guys.

I mean I have a friend with a smaller sized manfrotto setup he's had for nearly 8 years and it's still working great. On the other hand, I spent about $400 on a manfrotto setup and after a year of use it's falling apart.. pretty brutal given manfrotto's rep and using a shittier/cheaper manfrotto setup throughout highschool with a much longer life. Luckily they'll warranty it but that involves me covering shipping to their repair center in the states, and I'm in Canada which is a hassle.

Check out the brand Ambico, mine is a v-0525, they don't sell it anymore, they used to make really nice fluid heads, but what they make now is trash, if you can find the model i have or an old fluid head by them you can get it for like $30 and it works super super well
