All I know is that I traded skis with my old man this past weekend. He has B3 and I have SPs and luckily we're the same boot size. Those B3's sucked major ass compared to my SPs. Felt like huge 2x4's with no life at all. I couldn't get my dad to give me back my SPs. Sorry, not sure why I was just talking about 2 skis that have nothing to do w/ this thread
^I own 189 pistols and I've skiied 195 b3s for a few days last year, and I loved both skis... I think i prefer my pistols for their versatility (the b3s didn't do quite so well on groomed hardpack) but I certainly wouldn't say that the B3 is an inferior ski. It killed the deep stuff at Baker, and there was plenty of it, believe me.

TJ...could you lend some insight to '91' and '98' on the tails of those skis in the pics? I've never had the chance to ski the B3s in deep snow but I'm more of a one ski quiver kinda guy and the SP is that ski
im betting it means 191cm x 98mm or the other way around
