Has anyone skied the Palisades at Sugar Bowl. I've always wanted to, but they've never been open when i'm there.

i've traversed real far over to the right from disney mountain to where you sorta get into the palisades, and it gets pretty gnarly, but i've never been there on a day when the actual palisades are open.
my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

been there on days guys were dropping off the bottom cliffs like 70-90 feet...compressed spines and everything. You best bring a polaroid up with you or you can easily find yourself standing on a 100' rock looking down into a forrest.

nahh the palisades wont be open all season ther needz to be alooooot more snow. itz a hard ski and i've broken my leg on them but i've stuk em twice. Itz basically straight down and u should go with someone who has done i before to show u the right lines to take. if your still looking for an extreamly chalenging run thatz more realistic try the 58 itz a sik chute
