when you're heading into a feature and you see a gaper lurking, and you low-key know that he's either going to snake you or cut you off and hit the side of the rail cause its obviously a massive booter. That shit sketches me out, along with surprise ice patches

Idk why but sometimes I just get really nervous for no reason. Like sometimes when I'm driving to the mountain, I just get really nervous. Or when I just get off the lift I'll get anxiety for no reason. But nothing makes me more nervous than flips out of rails. I rarely do them, but the first time I did one I blacked out mid air. I almost threw up when I was dropping in.

I get really nervous when there is random ice patches (#eastcoastprobs), also when I'm on a chair on the chair lift that rattles like hell.

yup this for sure. Whenever I get on a new lift first thing I do is find the best spot for a well timed jump if the lift starts rolling back.

When people follow me into features. I suck and usually fall and the last thing I want is to get ran over. So I usually end up bailing if someone is right behind me. Apparently thats the thing to do at my hill... I can't tell you how many times people ran into me while I was hitting this one stall feature last season. ugh.

Pretty much. Boxes in general for me. I used to like them more when I started but now I hate them. When I started doing kinks I was always scared of catching at the kink but that has only happened to me once on a kinked box.

when you hit a jump with a line of people behind you, eat shit and have your ski pop off then whilst your hiking back up the jump to get you ski people that didnt see you fall continue over the jump and almost take you out.

Skiing a cliff area without knowing the area first and having to spot every little feature then taking the chair lift back up and hoping that your memory doesn't fuck you up and you hit a cliff much bigger than you expected.

traverses with some gnarly exposure and spookiness on either side and falling off of them. the cirque traverse @ snowbird comes to mind because the left-side is sheer steepness and hairy chutes that would not be fun to tumble down.

I get so nervous when a good friend of mine is headed into a kicker to try something new/crazy. Infinitely more nervous than when I go to try it myself. I mean, it really depends which buddy I'm watching but I don't always have faith in their abilities and really don't want to see them get wrecked.
