Shares on content increasing a shit ton.

MinggIs it me or do videos on here suddenly have hundreds, even thousands of shares. Before I could have sworn nothing ever got shared that much.

Just an example, there are more shares of this video than there are rates... Is this some kind of bug or like what? It just seems like there are an excessive amount of shares and I'm sort of questioning the accuracy.

There is absolutely no way my video got this many shares... The only people who would really care to watch(let alone share) this video would have been the people who were there. If other random people did share it that is extremely, extremely surprising. And I'm calling BS on that.

OOTD 2 only had 83 shares with 65k views and almost 1.3k rates so it just doesn't make any sense to me haha.

Another example would be the article about Colorado getting snow. There were about 3k views and 2k shares with 10 rates. That just seems extremely excessive.

Meanwhile Twig's article about the new TC episode has 110 votes, only 5 shares and 4.5k views.

I don't know, it just doesn't make any sense to me. It's like suddenly too. Before on good content you would see a lot of shares but now it's just like sky rocketed and I'm so confused on how a video could have more shares than rates. I'm just sort of questioning the accuracy. Maybe it's just coincidence but I'm sure other people have noticed. I can't be the only one.

Mr.BishopDiscovered a major bug in the system. Turns out that content wasn't recording all the shares something got. It was missing something crazy like 97% of them.

So the current numbers are accurate now. :)

MinggHoly shit that's a fuck ton of shares then. Jesus lol. Does it count if someone reshares? Like if I shared a video and then someone shared it off my Facebook, does it count it? Or does it only count it if you share directly from NS?
