Replying to Sore throat/dry cough remedies

Tonight i am going to a Secret Sesh (to those who are familiar) with wu tang performing, obviously there will be copious amounts of smoking and drinking. Two days ago i picked up this stuffy nose, sore throat, dry cough type of sickness and its the worst for going to an event like this. Been dosing myself with neocitran, advil cold and sinus, and tea.

Ive looked around online like any normal person would do, just curious if anyone on here has something that generally helps. Just want to be able to make it through the night without a burning death throat the whole time.
