I'm saying that's what people subconsciously default to which is why this is such a huge problem. It's so far from the U.S. bubble that people can't internalize it, but when an attack happens in a rich country filled with white people it turns our world upside down

One thing I do agree with is the facebook profile picture does nothing to help anything whatsoever and I do believe it is encouraging others to act out again. Exactly like putting these mass shooters all over the news. It's what they want.

No one cares about Lebanon and therefor we won't hear about it. Media give the American people what they want, not what they should have.

Over 200,000 Syrians have died in this conflict since the start but no one really seems to care enough to do anymore than drop a few bombs. As soon as 130 French die (1500x less) though watch out ISIS and Assad! Were commin for ya!
