El_ChapoEvery religion has its extremes.
The KKK.
Orthodox man stabs 6 people at gay pride rally. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-33726634
Obviously Islamic extremists
Christians http://www.alternet.org/tea-party-and-right/10-worst-terror-attacks-extreme-christians-and-far-right-white-men
The issue is religion itself.
Can we really do anything? I just can't think of any way to stop every person from executing (pun intended) their religious beliefs.
JustGoWithItIt'll take a lot of education and time. Probably wont happen in this generation or the next or 5 after that but eventually we'll get there. And you can sure bet science will be leading the way.
The.Natty.VeganPutting boots on the ground and further bombing them is only going to cause the problem to get worse. There's a direct correlation between the number of Islamic terrorists attacks and the amount of time troops spend in the middle east. Basically it's either wipe out every middle easterner or financially drain IS through their dealing in oil on the black market. But that's my opinion anyways.

mrleheyOk so I know there's been so many different opinions in what has happened in the past 48 hours. I've heard terrorism has no religion, Muslims are not terrorist! Personally I agree and disagree. I know a lot of Muslim people and have Muslim friends. I know that almost every Muslim person out there feels just as bad about these events that we do. But if terrorism really has no religion how come almost every act of terrorism performed by a radical Islam has been in the name of their God, their religion? We can't escape this. It'll keep happening, people are living in fear. Imagine if a school was bombed by ISIS parents wouldn't send their kids to school. Now here's the real question. What do we do? Who's gonna make the decision? It's happening all over the world. What do we do? I fear that the only way out of this is our worst fear.
JustGoWithItReligion needs to go; plain and simple. At one time it served an important purpose and has in many ways shaped the world into what it is today. However, times have changed. We no longer need religion to explain our origins, or where we are going to go when we die, or explain how we should live our lives. Richard Dawkins once said "Religion is capable of driving people to such dangerous folly that faith seems to me to qualify as a kind of mental illness." (By the way if you are ever looking for a book to read I would definitely recommend looking into his work.)
And now before people say, "Well it's just Islam" I say take a look back in history, you will find most every major religion at one time has been responsible for such acts. If a certain religion really did contain the absolute, then why do most religions look almost nothing like they did when they started. The danger of religion is it is up for personal interpretation. And as a result, things like this happen.
This world needs a set of universal uninterpretable morals before anything is going to get better. That; however, is not going to happen anytime soon, so as for now I think the best solution is to just blow to shit out of them.
